June 21st: Father's Day P.S.S.S.

Father's Day PSSS (Yep, that's right.)

I know what you're thinking, "What is Post Service Sabbath Spread" and those of you who already know the code ("Hey Psss") are wondering what it has to do with Fathers Day. All your questions will be answered, keep reading.

First! Post Service Sabbath Spread is a celebratory Sabbath lunch (that's the "spread" part) at the Hurds house after church where we fellowship over food with thankfulness for the heritage which we recieve from the Lord in the spirit of Ecclesiasties 5:18.

It all starts at 12:30PM

Second! Why Fathers Day? Well, really because I'm a father, and it's Fathers Day and I wanted to hang out with people on Fathers Day (and all the other Sundays this month were taken). Now I know that some of you may have standing Fathers Day traditions, don't feel bad for us, we WILL miss you, but we'll be having more fun. Now, if you're on the fence, a Psss get-together is exactly that thing you can give to the father in your life who has everything. Guess what? He doesn't have a Fathers Day Post Service Sabbath Spread does he? Nope, and he needs one, THIS one.

You can bring something if you want, fathers day beverages, your dad's favorite chips and salsa, a 7-layer bean dip, for example. BUT you don't have to! Rachel is going to be making a massive chicken enchilada casserole (and a gluten feee one) so there will be enough, (on the offchance there isn't we'll send out a hunting expedition.)

At about 1:45 we'll bust out some music and sing songs to our Father (every day is Heavenly Father's day you know.)

RSVP: If you're planning on coming shoot me an email so I can tell my wife (evidently wives appreciate knowing that kind of thing). If you have any questions, shoot me a note.

WHERE? The Hurd House:

P.S. I'll miss you at church in the morning as we'll be attending my nephew's baptism in Fort Worth.
P.S.S. You can check out https://psss.rocks but it has all the same info, gotta plug it you know.
P.S.S.S. Why didn't I hand out cards? Germs, not that there are more germs than the last time I passed them out really, but we've been thinking about them so much. Once we're thinking about them less I'll get back to passing out those snazzzy P.S.S.S. cards you all love so much.
